Do you know the principle of a meat flattener?

When the meat flattener is working, first turn on the machine and then put the material in. Due to the gravity of the material and the rotation of the screw feeder, the material is continuously sent to the cutter blade for shredding. Because the screw pitch of the screw feeder should be smaller at the back than the front, but the diameter of the screw shaft at the back is larger than the front, so this will produce a certain squeezing force on the material, which forces the chopped meat from the holes on the grid discharge.

When the meat grinder is used for the production of canned luncheon meat, because the fat meat needs to be coarsely minced, and the lean meat needs to be finely minced, the coarse and fine mincing can be achieved by changing the grid plate. The grid has several holes of different specifications, usually the diameter of the holes used for coarse stranding is 8-10 mm, and the diameter of the holes used for fine stranding is 3-5 mm. The thickness of the coarse and fine stranded grid plates are both 10-12 mm ordinary steel plates. Because the diameter of the coarse twisting is relatively large, the speed of the screw feeder is faster than that of the fine twisting, but the fastest does not exceed 400 rpm, generally around 200-400 rpm. Because the area of the holes on the grid is constant, the amount of discharge used is also constant. When the speed of the feeding screw is too fast, the material will be blocked near the cutting edge, which will increase the load suddenly and cause certain adverse effects on the motor. The cutting edge of the reamer is installed along the cutting knife, so the tool used for the reamer is made of steel, and the cutting edge is required to be very sharp. After one hour of use, the cutting edge will become dull. At this time, you need to replace the blade or re-grind, otherwise it will affect the cutting efficiency. In severe cases, some materials will not be shredded and discharged, but will be discharged into a slurry after squeezing and grinding, which will directly affect the quality of the finished product.

When the meat flattener is assembled or the reamer is changed, the nuts must be tightened tightly to ensure that the grid does not move. If it is not tight enough, the relative movement between the movement of the grid plate and the rotation of the reamer will affect the effect on the material refining. Therefore, the reamer must be closely attached to the grid plate, otherwise it will affect the cutting efficiency. When the screw feeder rotates in the wall of the machine, it is necessary to prevent the appearance of the screw from colliding with the wall of the machine. A slight collision will damage the machine immediately. However, the gap between them cannot be too large, because too much will affect the efficiency of feeding and the extrusion force, and even make the material flow back from the gap, so the processing and installation requirements of these parts are relatively high.
